Got my Chromecast and have been using it with my MAC and Windows 8 computers.  The MAC work far better.  With the Windows 8 there was a lot of lag on the video.  The MAC shows smoothly and in sync on the TV.  Will be trying with a Windows 7 machine and Chromebook this week.  Will report findings.
